New callsign for the Polar PrinceWith the successful completion of the Canada C3 Expedition culminated upon the Polar Prince’s arrival in Victoria, British Columbia it has been necessary to retire the CG3EXP special event call sign. An opportunity arose to have the Polar Prince carry the Ultimate 3 WSPR beacon as the ship returns to the East Coast via the Panama Canal.
For this unique Amateur Radio opportunity, the Polar Prince is now transmitting with the call sign VE0EXP.

25 November, 2017Island activities: AF-019. (Cancelled) Emilio, IZ1GAR, will not be active as IH9/IZ1GAR from Pantelleria Island (IIA TP-001, WLOTA 0041) between November 24-28th. He had to cancel his plans due to work.
Instead, he will be active from Sanremo as IZ1GAR during the CQWW DX CW Contest (November 25-26th), as a Single-Op/Single Band 80m)/High-Power entry. QSL via IZ1GAR, direct or by the Bureau. AS-107.
