F4AZF Notre KOPain Damien F4AZF a Pleumeur-Bodou 30 juillet 2026 Bonsoir les KOPains Ce mardi 28 juillet, étant sur Rennes pour rendre le matériel de mon ancien Pro , je me suis déplacé jusqu’au Radome de Pleumeur-Bodou (près de Lannion Nord Bretagne) à la cité des télécoms … sous ce radome souple en « Dacron » de 2mm d’épais , de 64m de diamètre mis en surpression de 4 Millibars , une antenne cornet … qui fut utilisée pour tenter la 1 ère liaison TV transatlantique Mondovision en direct du 23 juillet 1962 (à quelques jours près 64 ans) via le satellite Telstar1, en orbite elliptique 950-5600kms, avec un max de 20 minutes réellement exploitables sur ce passage entre le Maine (usa) et la Bretagne… sur une orbite de 2h30 lors du « survol » de l’Atlantique avec une déclinaison de 45 degrés . L’antenne appelée aussi PB1 fait 54m de long ,29 m de haut et pèse 380 Tonnes, des moteurs hydrauliques assurent la rotation ainsi que l’élévation. Gain de 59 dB a 4 Ghz , 57 dB à 6 Ghz.
