UBA IARU 100 EVENT

At the occasion of the IARU centenary, the Belgian IARU society UBA will be activating 30 special event stations between

 March 15th till May 15th 2025.

The callsigns of these stations are: ON100I, ON100A, ON100R, ON100U, OO100I, OO100A, OO100R, OO100U, OP100I, OP100A, OP100R, OP100U, OQ100I, OQ100A, OQ100R, OQ100U, OR100I, OR100A, OR100R, OR100U, OS100I, OS100A, OS100R, OS100U, OT100I, OT100A, OT100R and OT100U. These stations will be aired from several local divisions of the UBA. Furthermore, OQ0IARU and OR0IARU will be activated by the members of the UBA board and HF Committee.

QSL cards
Six different QSL cards will be available: one for each suffix letter (I, A, R and U) of the 28 stations in the ON100I to OT100U series and two for OQ0IARU and OR0IARU.
We do NOT need your QSL, so please refrain from sending your own QSL to reduce the workload on the the QSL bureau. If you made one or more QSOs with any of the special event stations and wish to receive a QSL via the bureau, please follow the instructions published here
The combined front of these six paper QSL cards will form one IARU motive and may therefore be considered a collector’s item. Electronic QSLs will be available via hamlog.online
No other confirmation methods will be in place (i.e. no LoTW, eQSL,QRZ, ...), nor do we accept QSLing via e-mail (QSL World, QSL Creator and similar sites).

Award Program
To celebrate the event, a series of awards will also be available for free. Logsearch and download of the certificates will be provided in cooperation with hamlog.online

Note about your QSOs
A crew of about three hundred operators activates the thirty different special event stations. The speed of finding your QSO through the hamlog.online log search depends on how often and how quickly an individual operator delivers his or her log to the UBA HF committee.
Obviously, operators are asked to process their logs on a very regular basis, but ultimately this is the responsibility of each individual operator of each of the thirty special event stations. It is therefore completely useless to contact the members of the UBA HF committee with questions about this. Such mails will therefore remain unanswered.
If you discover that your call was incorrectly logged, please note that correct logging of QSO data is the responsibility of both QSO partners. Make sure during your QSO that the operator of the special event station logs your call correctly. We will not make subsequent changes to logs.
