• [NEWS @ 1230Z] by M0SDV

Good afternoon from a wet and windy Flannan Isles. We now have 2 stations on air and have been running SSB, CW and FT8, with now approaching 1000 QSOs already!

Yesterday was a rough day with rain and gale force winds making it very difficult to get going. This morning was brighter with good visibility and no wind giving us opportunity to get the second station going, but that has since changed and the picture shows the current state of the weather here.

We are looking for a chance to retrieve the third station from the landing site to bring it up here, however running low on dry clothes so not keen on getting wet again.

Team up and running on 40m so far with more antennas to be erected today. They are cold and wet but the weather is to improve in the coming hours / days. Logs will be uploaded to Club Log etc once back on mainland.
