Look out for J45E on the air from Kos Island (IOTA: EU-001) from July 24th to July 29th, 2025. The station will be active on HF bands (80m through 10m) using CW, SSB, and digital modes.
J45E will also be participating in the IOTA Contest (July 26–27), giving out the sought-after EU-001 island reference. Expect a strong presence during the contest weekend with a focus on maximizing band and mode coverage.
Kos is part of the Dodecanese Islands (DXCC: Greece), making this a valuable contact for both IOTA EU-001, DXCC, WPX and GIOTA (DKS 043) hunters.
