| Chester County Emergency Management recently participated in the 2025 statewide disaster exercise. This exercise was based around a natural disaster that caused widespread disruption in services and communications in South Carolina. On Saturday, March 15th, John Walk and John Yelvington manned the radio room in the Chester County Emergency Operations Center and relayed emergency information to the State Emergency Management Division and other amateur radio operators in Chester and York counties.
