All logistical tasks now completed; antennas, radios and other gear ready to go.
Manu (CE3MYR) and Moises (CE3VTZ) will start their journey from Santiago on Sunday – they will drive around 600 km to the city of Lota, where the ferry is located before crossing to Santa María Island. Felipe (XQ7IR) will travel via road to Lota.
Cabin is rented and has an excellent location and free space to erect antennas. First signals planned around 2000z on Sunday 9th Nov. The team is in very good spirits and hope to log many stations in different bands and modes.
