Classes:SINGLE-OP ALL - one operator, all ranges; SINGLE-OP xxM - one operator, one range (xx = 10, 15, 20, 40, 80); SINGLE-OP 6H - one operator, all bands, counting time - 6 hours (counting starts from the time of the first communication, breaks - at least 60 minutes); MULTI-OP - many operators (one or more transmitters); CHECKLOG - no credit (for judging purposes only). General rules: There are no power subgroups. There are no restrictions on changing ranges. But in all qualifying categories it is allowed to have a single emitted signal at any time. Artist Sian Fan is collaborating with Chelmsford Museum to create Forecast22 – Birth of British Broadcasting, an immersive digital model of the Marconi Writtle Hut, where groundbreaking 2MT radio broadcasts started on February 14, 1922
Interdisciplinary artist Sian will scan the Writtle Hut using Lidar technology to create a virtual 3D version of the building and its contents, including a replica of the 2MT transmitter and the piano used in the original 1922 broadcasts. The immersive, interactive model will blend historic content from museum curators with present day performances and contributions from the Chelmsford community, producing a new interpretation of this famous space. ... Hellenic Post (ELTA) has released a special set of four postage stamps featuring amateur radio in Greece
A post by the national amateur radio society of Greece (RAAG) says:
We would like to inform you that, on the occasion of the opening of the Radiocommunications Station of the General Secretariat for Telecommunications and Post of the Ministry of Digital Governance, the Hellenic Post will release a booklet of 4 Self-Adhesive Personal Stamps which will be available from Tuesday, February 15, 2022.
"When all else fails, amateur radio is there,” says Mike Manshack, public information coordinator for the American Radio Relay League.
The League is hosting its annual Hamfest fundraiser Feb. 26 at the Orange County Convention & Expo Center from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The event is $8 for anyone over the age of 12 years old.

The RSGB Contest Committee has released the latest results for the popular 144 MHz FT-8 Activity Nights which are held on the 1st Wednesday of each month from 1900-2100 GMT, best DX was 1402 km
The latest event was held on February 2 and the Contest Committee say:
Thwarted in 2021 by the pandemic, HamCation roared back to life Friday. Attendee traffic was heavy all around the Central Florida Fairgrounds in Orlando, despite Friday being historically a 'slow' day, with hams visiting vendors, shopping the flea market, socializing, and enjoying other hamfest activities
The ARRL floor area was busy throughout the day, with staff, officers, and volunteers serving current and prospective members in several areas, including membership, clubs, contesting, and more.
